Rome boroughs & districts called Municipi are the administrative divisions that share Rome in 19 municipal boroughs. Within each of its boroughs, the neighborhoods are making the charm and the reputation of the city of Rome.
The division of Rome into boroughs or districts dates from 1972 with a division into 20 boroughs, then 19 boroughs in 1992 and 15 boroughs in 2013.
